What Can GPT-4 Do? Powerful ChatGPT4 Use Cases

·

Let’s be real: ChatGPT is one of the most remarkable technological achievements I’ve ever seen — that the world has ever seen.

Its impact has been as strong as the buzz around it. And now there’s an even more powerful version of the chatbot:

GPT-4. 💥

This advanced language model claims to be:

  • More reliable.
  • Able to read visuals and generate longer text.
  • Able to understand more nuanced instructions.
  • Less prone to making up facts (which was the #1 issue with the previous version).

That means it’s time to put it to the test. (I want to see what this baby can do. 💪)

In this blog post, we’ll look at some fascinating ChatGPT4 use cases, particularly in the field of marketing, and how you can harness the power of this next-generation AI technology for your business.

Let’s get to it.

Everything You Need to Know About ChatGPT-4

ChatGPT-4 (short for Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4) is an advanced language model developed by OpenAI.

It builds on its predecessors’ success by offering even more powerful natural language processing capabilities to generate human-like responses from a given prompt or context.

What’s New in GPT-4?

GPT-4’s release shook up the world because it’s vastly more powerful, smarter, and generally better than its previous iterations.

Here are the new GPT-4 features to know.

It Can Read Visual Inputs

Unlike GPT-3.5, which can only read textual data, GPT-4 can now read visual inputs.

This means you can include images in your prompts — so, for example, you could upload a sketch of your mockup together with instructions on building your website, and the AI will then write code for it. (Crazy!)

This update is mega-important because sometimes it can be near impossible (or incredibly tedious) to describe an image using words.

For instance, with this tech, instead of typing up a list of the ingredients in your fridge and asking for recipe ideas, you can now simply take a snapshot of what’s inside your fridge and the AI will deliver!

It Understands More Context

On to the next update: GPT-4 can now understand more context.

GPT-3.5 can only process about 3,000 words, whereas GPT-4 can now read up to 25,000 words. This means GPT-4 can generate more text, summarize complex documents, and engage in longer conversations.

It’s Less of a Yarn-Spinner

Next, the biggest flaw of ChatGPT is its tendency to make up answers — and with supreme confidence at that. 😂

While it’s still an issue with the new version, Open AI claims that GPT-4 significantly reduces “hallucinations” and scores 40% higher than GPT-3.5 during testing.

It’s More Accurate with Non-English Languages

Another improvement with GPT-4 is accuracy when reading non-English languages. GPT-4 outscored GPT-3.5 when tested in 26 languages. By adding support for multiple languages, GPT-4 will make this technology more accessible to non-English audiences.

ChatGPT4 is not available in the ChatGPT free version but you can access it by upgrading to ChatGPT Plus. Check out our complete guide on how to use ChatGPT 4 to get started.

How Does ChatGPT-4 Work For Marketers?

The power of GPT-4 lies in its versatility and adaptability. Here are some key ways that marketers can benefit from using ChatGPT-4.

Content Creation

To stay ahead of the competition, content marketers must produce consistently high-quality and relevant pieces. ChatGPT-4 can help you do this through automated content curation.

Find Content Ideas

Finding unique ideas for your content strategy is essential but time-consuming. However, by using ChatGPT-4’s deep learning algorithms, you can automate this process effectively.

The AI model will help you generate creative topic suggestions based on keywords or themes relevant to your industry while ensuring they align with SEO best practices.

Here’s an example. I asked ChatGPT to give me some keyword ideas to target for a blog about hydroponics:

Brainstorm Headlines

Brainstorming is one of my favorite ways to use ChatGPT. The tool can be surprisingly creative and inventive with wording when you ask it to come up with headlines.

The prompt I used was: “Please provide me with a list of the top SEO blog titles for a website selling dog accessories.”

Compose Blog Post Outlines

ChatGPT still can’t write long-form content — but it CAN create good outlines to use and flesh out for high-quality blog posts.

In this prompt, I asked it to “provide step-by-step instructions on how to invest in mutual funds.”

Write Content

GPT-4’s advanced AI capabilities can also help you automate the actual writing process. It can generate well-written, coherent, and engaging articles with minimal human intervention.

Here’s how ChatGPT-4 creates a rough draft of an article based on a given topic or keyword, which you can then edit or refine on a separate editor as needed.

I started with a prompt: Write a 1,000-word blog post to rank for the keyword “positive reinforcement for dogs”

And this is what ChatGPT-4 wrote:

Title: The Power of Positive Reinforcement for Dogs: A Comprehensive Guide

Introduction

Positive reinforcement for dogs is an essential technique for effective dog training and building a strong bond with your furry friend. By rewarding good behavior and ignoring unwanted actions, you can teach your dog essential skills, manners, and obedience. In this comprehensive guide, we will delve into the concept of positive reinforcement, its benefits, and how you can use it to train your dog effectively.

What is Positive Reinforcement?

Positive reinforcement is a scientifically proven training method that rewards desired behaviors and ignores or redirects undesired ones. This approach is based on the premise that dogs are more likely to repeat behaviors that result in positive outcomes. By offering your dog praise, treats, or toys when they exhibit good behavior, you encourage them to continue that behavior in the future.

Benefits of Positive Reinforcement for Dogs

Stronger bond: Positive reinforcement strengthens the bond between you and your dog, fostering trust and mutual respect.

Effective communication: By rewarding good behavior and ignoring undesired actions, you establish a clear communication system that helps your dog understand your expectations.

Reduces fear and aggression: Positive reinforcement training is gentle and non-confrontational, which reduces the likelihood of fear-based or aggressive behaviors.

Long-lasting results: Dogs trained using positive reinforcement methods tend to retain learned behaviors better over time.

Adaptable to any dog: Positive reinforcement techniques can be applied to dogs of any age, breed, or size, making it a versatile training method for all types of dogs.

How to Use Positive Reinforcement for Dogs

Identify the right rewards: Determine which rewards your dog values the most, such as treats, praise, or toys. These rewards should be motivating and enjoyable for your dog.

Timing is crucial: Offer the reward immediately after your dog performs the desired behavior. This helps your dog associate the action with the reward, making it more likely they will repeat the behavior in the future.

Be consistent: Consistency is key when using positive reinforcement. Ensure that you and everyone in your household use the same cues and rewards for each behavior to avoid confusing your dog.

Gradually increase difficulty: Start with simple behaviors and gradually progress to more complex ones. Increase the difficulty level by introducing distractions or extending the duration of the desired behavior.

Use a marker: A marker, such as a clicker or a specific word like “yes,” can help signal to your dog that they’ve performed the desired behavior. Pair the marker with a reward to reinforce the connection.

Phase out rewards: Once your dog consistently performs the desired behavior, gradually decrease the frequency of rewards. However, continue to reinforce the behavior occasionally to maintain its strength.

Examples of Positive Reinforcement in Action

Teaching your dog to sit: Hold a treat near your dog’s nose, then slowly move it upwards and slightly back. As your dog’s head follows the treat, their bottom will naturally lower to the ground. When they sit, mark the behavior with a click or “yes” and reward them with the treat.

Crate training: Encourage your dog to enter the crate by placing a treat inside. Once your dog goes in, praise them and give another treat. Gradually increase the time your dog spends in the crate, rewarding them for staying calm and relaxed.

Loose-leash walking: When your dog walks beside you without pulling on the leash, reward them with praise, treats, or toys. If they begin to pull, stop walking and wait for the leash to slacken before continuing. This teaches your dog that pulling doesn’t get them where they want to go.

Coming when called: Begin by calling your dog’s name when they are nearby. When they come to you, reward them with praise and a treat. Gradually increase the distance between you and your dog and practice in various environments with different levels of distraction. Consistently rewarding your dog for responding to their name will help reinforce the importance of coming when called.

Teaching “leave it”: Place a treat in your closed hand and present it to your dog. When your dog attempts to get the treat, say “leave it” and wait for them to stop trying. Once they’ve stopped, mark the behavior with a click or “yes” and reward them with a treat from your other hand. This teaches your dog that ignoring the initial treat results in a reward.

Conclusion

Positive reinforcement for dogs is a powerful and effective training method that promotes a strong bond between you and your pet while teaching them essential skills and good manners. By consistently rewarding desired behaviors and ignoring or redirecting undesired ones, you can establish clear communication with your dog and set them up for a lifetime of success. Embrace the power of positive reinforcement to create a harmonious and well-behaved canine companion.

This turned out to be 801 words, a marked improvement from the 600-word max of ChatGPT-3.5. But just like its predecessor, ChatGPT-4 ignored my request for a 1,000-word blog post.

As much as the writing quality continues to impress, ChatGPT-4 is still not ideal for long-form content. For in-depth content, you’ll need a specialized AI writing tool like BrandWell, which can generate articles with up to 7,000 words.

Unlike ChatGPT-4, BrandWell gives you a baseline draft that is already formatted with H2-H6 headers and bulleted lists, as well as key takeaways, click-to-tweets, and links from authority sources.

The app also comes with an SEO tool so you can optimize your title, meta description, body copy, and images. As a bonus, you get free Copyscape checks plus an AI detector for a complete end-to-end content creation solution that looks good to both readers and search engines.

To truly understand the differences between both tools, including what each one is capable of, check out our breakdown of BrandWell vs ChatGPT. 🥊

Social Media Marketing

As technology evolves, I’m continually discovering new and surprising use cases for ChatGPT-4. This powerful language model can help streamline various marketing tasks while delivering impressive results.

Here are some of the lesser-known ChatGPT4 use cases that can benefit your marketing efforts.

Generate Social Media Content

Gone are the days when you had to spend hours brainstorming ideas for engaging social media content.

With GPT-4’s advanced capabilities, it can generate captivating captions, hashtags, and even full-length social posts tailored to your brand’s voice and target audience. By automating this process with ChatGPT-4, you’ll save time and resources while maintaining a consistent presence on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Here’s how I used GPT-4 to find ideas for an Instagram post. I used the prompt, “I need an Instagram story idea that will provide a sneak peek of a new lipstick line and create a sense of anticipation and excitement for young fashionistas with a clear and compelling call to action.”

While a bit silly 💄😂, ChatGPT nevertheless gave me some great jumping-off points for putting together this type of post.

A/B Test Ad Copy Variations

Creating engaging ad copy is crucial in driving conversions and boosting ROI from advertising campaigns.

Instead of manually creating multiple variations of ads yourself, or relying on limited templates provided by ad platforms like Google Ads or Facebook Ads Manager, let ChatGPT-4 do the heavy lifting. It can quickly produce tons of creative options based on your input parameters – such as keywords or your desired tone – allowing you to run more efficient A/B tests with minimal effort.

Write Product Descriptions

E-commerce businesses often struggle with crafting compelling product descriptions that drive sales. GPT-4 can be a game-changer in this regard, as it’s capable of generating unique and persuasive copy for hundreds or even thousands of products within minutes.

By integrating ChatGPT-4 into your creation process, you’ll ensure consistent quality across all product listings while freeing up valuable time to focus on other marketing tasks.

Here’s an example of how ChatGPT4 can create product descriptions in less than a minute. I asked it to “Write 5 product descriptions for an ad to sell design software.”

Automate Influencer Outreach

Finding the right brand influencers and crafting individualized outreach messages can be time-consuming, but ChatGPT-4 can help automate the process by turning relevant data points into powerful personalized pitches. Just input a list of potential influencers along with data points such as niche, follower count, or engagement rate. The AI will then generate tailored pitches based on this information – increasing your chances of clinching partnerships.

Generate Customer Testimonials

A well-crafted customer testimonial has the power to convince prospects about your product’s value better than any sales pitch ever could. However, it can be difficult to get customers to provide testimonials – especially if they’re busy or lack the necessary motivation. In these cases, ChatGPT-4 can help by taking existing reviews from platforms like Yelp, Google My Business, or even internal feedback systems and transforming them into engaging stories that highlight the key benefits of your product.

Again, ChatGPT4 took only less than a minute to generate these product reviews.

Analyze Amazon Product Reviews

It’s easy to forget that ChatGPT4 can quickly and efficiently synthesize and summarize information so it’s more usable, not to mention easier to understand.

For example, ask it to analyze and summarize product reviews on Amazon to get insights without having to scroll through pages of reviews yourself:

Craft Buyer Personas

ChatGPT-4 can also help you turn buyer data into useful descriptions. And if you’re starting from square one, it can give you a launchpad for researching your ideal customer.

In this prompt, I asked it to write 3-5 mock customer personas based on a few small details. With the output it gave me, I can research the assumptions it made about my target audience.
